I often asked myself that, and today when I was meditating the answer came to me and it was simply because I was broken and I wanted to be better, and with that in mind I found you. Turns out it has been one experience that has enriched and keeps enriching my life. Definitely one growths through relationships of any type, you just have to be open to what are they showing you and you will see that all comes together, the good, the bad, the pretty, the ugly; everything and everyone that come into your life is working for you, for your growth for your wellbeing even if right now you don’t see be patient and pay attention and you will realize that the universe or God works that way just for YOU to find your happiness, your purpose, yourself and love it all!!
When you are having difficult times for whatever reason embrace them, the hardest situations bring the best in you, the very best you didn’t know you had, and encourage you to take greater risk and explore yourself in order to find a way out of them, so be thankful that is what will make you grow and become a better version of you not only for yourself but also for others 🙏🏽🙂🌺
Wheel / Urdhva Dhanurasana
Can you tell I like this pose? 😂😂 I chose it because I think is so appropriate, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results” Albert Einstein. This is so true we always should be open to change our mind or to see the same situation from different angles, mostly when we don’t see progress in our life. To me this pose means that being open to everything that life throws you 🌼🐪☀️
Camel / Ustrasana
Happy Internet Yoga Day!! 🎉🎊🙏🏽 For me yoga day is pretty much everyday, this practice have made me feel like super woman. I used to do yoga in my twenties once a week then I started working and I didn’t take care of my body very much so I just stopped. When I decided to take care of my health on my thirty birthday I went to a nutritionist and she gave me I a new diet that it was mostly about natural foods, what she meant was that I should eat mostly things that grow from the earth and with that I began my journey to take care of myself she also told me to exercise what ever type I wanted so I started hiit, and body weight and cardio and also yoga, and my quest for better body health became my quest for better mind and spiritual health. And definitely Yoga has made realize that I have to take care of everything that I let in that includes thoughts, comments, foods; and also everything I let out. It has helped me to be humble, compassionate, emphatic and it has led me to live a better life. Namaste 🙏🏽🌼
King Pigeon / Rajakapotasana
Self love is something so hard to understand sometimes. It takes a really long time to love your body, your mind, your soul to not allow anyone to touch you if they are not going to respect and honor your body or not to allow anyone to come and talk to you badly or in a rude way or not to allow anyone to fill your heart with bad feelings, but once you get there, there is not coming back and everything in your life will change for the best for the love that you give to yourself
One Hand Graceful Thunderbolt / Eka Hasta Laghuvajrasana
The best of the practice to me is that it encourages you but also humbles you. After a lot of practice you will be able to do the pose but one you do it; it has a lot of others challenges or other poses that will humble you
Downward Facing Dog / Addho Mukha Svanasana
I absolutely love this pose. To me is about surrender and gratitude. Thank you God for everything and I am here with an open heart and mind to take what is next.
